While its nice to move money in and out of the hloc, if it costs too much its not worth it.Probably best still to do a refi and lock in your rate as opposed to a floating rate hloc (as most of them are I believe).

Mine a commercial loan for a 5 unit, which is what you can expect (you mentioned 5 units in your post) and why is why it's fixed to start and then floats with prime.
