@Amber, most of the larger counties have online portals to search property deed records for sales, mortgages, liens, etc. 

I am doing 3 years to lock in at the rate and going with the 2nd level to allow for owner accounts and the property management portal.  

If all else fails, you can search the site in the upper right  hand box by entering "crowdfunding" and you'll find your question asked many different ways with hundreds of responses and perspectives.If you want to hit me through PM, I can give you my opinion on the better crowdfunding portals and/or several knowledgeable experts on BP (those without an agenda and without  self-serving interests).

-If my wife gets a mortgage in her name and I am running the business, how do you I gain visibility to the account without signing into the mortgage servicing portal as her.

I have an online portal where I can access each monthly statement that includes owner draws/disbursements, income statements, paid/unpaid bills, copies of invoices, etc.
