So I've chosen to carry the debt for now, and pay off when I can do so and still have a comfortable amount of cash on hand.

Once you are chosen, closings are 6-8 weeks and often have title issues so have a bit of patience and you should be OK!

While you are acquiring your first property, it would be smart to align yourself with others, both here and locally where you live, who are active in the asset class you've chosen and can share guidance. 

For this reason is why others have chosen to bill back at a flat rate per month.
