Sad to say there is lots of opportunities in Detroit, but that breeds bad actors waiting to make a few bucks off someone.This was a recent story in the newspaper: http://www.detroitnews.com/story/news/special-repo...Guys like this are just the tip of the iceberg.

If not I would say your best bet is to look wherever you can: News paper, county assesors office, title searches, ziprealty, zillow, bank owned search sites, real estate agents, amd you might want to try online banking sites!
