In the mean time, I removed the LP heater and the leased LP tanks, so there is no more gas used in the place (so the CO part of the alarm shouldn't be an issue) and installed a mini-split heat pump in its place.I hadn't heard anything from the tenant but, when they moved out last week, I saw that they had again disconnected the alarm in the bedroom.

We have arguably nine major universities, a couple dozen local community colleges, eleven medical schools, seven law schools, and eleven theology schools that attract tens of thousands of students every year that don't use movers for their mini fridge and futon.

There are a lot of mini-markets out there that can work based on your criteria, and get ready for a lot of messages/posts in response to your post that tell you to invest in a specific market: "the midwest is the best!" 

As I start to plan my next investment, I see that I have to upgrade to a mini-split(I look at comparable rentals).

But we usually turn off the AC/heater at night, not sure if it will be a problem for the tenant to share to central AC with us, so I'm thinking about use a mini-split unit for the in-law suit.

Hot tub, fire pit, fire table and chairs, grill for food, portable toilet, mini fridge, ac/heater unit, and games.

Piggy backing off Min, I definitely recommend looking at employment.

Idk but totally doable...consider mini splits for smaller home as well.
