I am not a well-traveled man and even though I am 59 years old I have never been to your state but I have heard a little bit about it.  

When I travel to Hawaii, and spend a day or two looking at potential investment housing...even if I don't buy anything...that plane ticket is a deduction.I'm going to assume you're a smart guy, so as you know, there are numerous methods to get around paying taxes on your real estate income.  

I am in the Lafayette area this weekend and part of I-10 was closed when I got close to Baton Rouge traveling from Kenner this morning. 

Possibly they are confident prices will go up and they will make money in the long run. 

For every property I bought locally, I'm very confident I could have acquired 3-4 out of state properties that would generate a 12-15% Cash on Cash return.

How far away are you willing to travel? 

Travelling down New Zealand is always a great pleasure, looking at the scenery and in general just taking in the beauty the nature offers!

Termites traveling between units and setting up a new home?
