The only people I ever see rent it out are “kids” who inherit the family farm, auctioneers who get the land for a steal when nobody bids and get the auction fee discount, and finally a few small town doctor/lawyers/businessmen who pay cash because they want to own something they can see/feel touch, even if they don’t earn much.

I wonder, we consider healthcare for poor and old people "government assistance" down here and everyone else has to pay their way, do you feel your doctors in Canada are indirectly perpetuating a system that encourages people to be leeches on society, because healthcare is even provided to the "able" up there?

Any of these three would give you a good idea of what to expect for rents and tenants.Regarding "who" lives there, gosh it varies SOOO much, I know services works, doctors, attorney's nurses, real estate agents, UPS works, and all that live in that area (I actually live 4 blocks from McKinnley elementry) and I own a rental in the area also.
