If this tenant ever threatens you in any capacity, do not hesitate to file a complaint with the police, as that will provide a history in the event they do make good on the threat AND knowing that, will serve as a deterrent for them to actually do anything.While nut cases are out there, most people are more talk than anything.

In my opinion, with or without the partner mortgage signature, the fact that they are to be listed on the deed after the mortgage is closed in any capacity other than a survivor transfer, could be viewed as fraud by underwriting since they would own a percentage of the asset, removing it from the mortgage lien.

On one estate, we had to go in front of the planning board because we were increasing the capacity of the failed septic from 2 bath to 3.
