My plan is to try to do some of the work myself so I can learn, and then outsource some of the work (knocking down a couple walls) so that I can get some experience managing contractors and ensure the larger projects are done properly.

You could outsource the search to a CRA that will do it for a minimal fee.

I've become a very skilled processor and want to grow so I want to create my own outsourced/3rd party/contract loan processing business.

If the syndicator is outsourcing that work to another group, which they have very limited control over, they are not bringing me any value.Does the syndicator have a background in real estate?

Make a list of tasks you consistently do (daily, weekly, monthly), and outsource them.

This is something I want to outsource right from the beginning.

So I'm picking a few small work projects and focusing on them (replacing windows and landscaping) and  have outsourced the rest (painting, plumbing, electric, hardscaping, HVAC). 

That way, at least I can hopefully diagnose a problem and outsource as necessary, or if it's small enough, just do it myself.
