You may be the one eating up that special value, as opposed to it commanding a higher rent.Just a couple of thoughts I have looking at that deal, which would give me pause.

The other two are still on the hook for the total amount, and they will pay, because they know you can report to their command and receive the rent money regardless, and they don't want this on their record of service.

@Samuel Chua properties in different neighborhoods can command different rents even though varying prices.With your small variance example it may just be amenities, finishes, Bed Bath is it a 2/1 vs a 3/2 and what is more desirable.

My leases state they must use "command strips" of something similar and they are responsible for any holes.
