In my opinion, that book was not worth the $20 or so that I paid for it.With that said, while section 8 does not expect you to provide A/C or dishwashers, they still hold you accountable for providing safe and clean environment for your tenants.

Not sure where you're located....lots of deals to be found where I am in Ohio and I invest here as well, primarily in multifamily properties in C (or lower) neighborhoods.
