Wells Fargo is a bit unique... they get fined/penalized so much that they evidently turned their restitution payments into a formal first time homebuyer down payment assistance program.

To have rent that far below market and leave that much cash on the table would be a huge misstep.

It may be along somewhat different lines than what you are thinking, as what they are doing is quite unique in the area.

You can network with other investors who may have the money, but you want to become very good at sourcing deals or bringing something to the table. 

I truth, I didn't know if I was unique in these large credit score swings or if I was doing something wrong.
