You can usually fix your issue by making sure water drains away from the house on the outside, putting 6 mil down, and making sure your crawl space vents are open as long as it is not below freezing.

@Vince Mayer   to be fair I asked that question of a Realtor in Kokomo IND  on a grey freezing butt February day.. pretty bleak looking that time of year in that part of the country.

It's freezing January and February, but the lake keeps it from going to extremes that often.

Blames the Property Manager for wind, hail, storms, tornadoes, winter storms, freezing pipes, foundation movement, dead grass, etc...  

There is a chance that if there is a major credit market crash they may freeze your ability to draw from the line, but I don't suspect the loan would be called due unless you were in poor standing.

Can they freeze the line of credit due to economic conditions? 

Many people who were in contract are backing down.It is for sure that real estate will go down, due to layoffs, hiring freeze and lower confidence in job security.

@Dylan Mathias  But your absolutely correct no matter what happens.. if credit freeze's like it did in 08 and 09 then we are all in trouble all over again.. and to a varying degree.. depending on what you do for a living.

Banks have been known to freeze lines of credit in those instances.
