Plus with high vacation traffic/rising rental prices in Destin and surrounding areas people that work in the tourism industry are having to find other places to live, driving demand to the smaller local markets (Fort Walton Beach, Navarre, Freeport, Defuniak Springs, etc. ) in order to find more affordable housing.

I was wondering if people on the forum had recommendations for states that are known for healthcare/destinations for travel nurses to use as a starting point.

@Estelle AngelinasHonestly, I don’t think you can compare Athens, Greece to Detroit, Michigan as tourist destinations!

Unfortunately I think, like Las Vegas, it’s destined to become “little California”.GL wherever you choose. 

I think we are in the same position as hoping to be cash neutral out of the gate with possible upside and a vacation destination. 

Thinking in particular of Destin, Pensacola Beach area.

There are not that many moving parts to a real estate transaction, they key is just getting yourself along the flow of cash as it reaches its final destination.

Also, a new restaurant called "Kitchen Witches" Bird scooters are going inI've been following the local gov't and TBID "https://www.ci.twentynine-palm..." very closely, I, and many locals, agents and investors I've spoke to, have come to the conclusion the city is pro-development, their goal is to make it a very strong tourist destination. 

Very different areas, in deed.Vacation destinations are quite a bit of work.
