I'm not what is intended by that, but it could be interpreted to mean that you will not fix anything ever (even if its landlord responsibility by law).Also, it looks like the bathroom and bedrooms could use some window coverings for privacy.

I bet if you undercut their rates and offered guest more space and privacy then you could make the numbers work.You would, of course, block out time when your family wanted to use the home.

Generally, people like the peace of fewer neighbors and more privacy. 

pro- at the time they were built ,,builders claimed they offered MORE privacy since you could be on a different level as others of the family and have your own space.

A Land Trust will help with privacy of ownership and probate avoidance (in my state) but does not offer any liability protection.
