I myself earned a degree in Economics and got my RE license during my Junior year and began helping student find apartments and even got an internship with a seasoned investor to just learn the ropes.Having a degree to fall back when the market is on a downward slope will definitely be worth it one day in my opinion.Best of luck with your decision!

Notice of foreclosures are required by law in any state to be made public (similar to court order appearances) and includes a list of all other interested parties (this is your Lies Pendants to look at who has junior liens, but you will usually need to go to the courthouse to find out how much these liens are for- this is used to determine if you think you should bother trying to purchase the property or if you think a junior lien is going to redeem).

You will need a servicer for both, and some knowledge going after the non performing ones, which based on Senior or Junior, have completely different workout strategies.
