Several parts of the new fridge (at move in) have been broken.

My question:My purchase price was $75K cash, and the condo is in good shape but needs a good cleaning and a fridge.

Washer and dryers are new along with stove and fridge for most part everything else can be thrown out.

I have pictures of entire unit (under sinks, inside oven and fridge, etc.) so proof if it was there beforehand or not. 

Who are you going to suspect when your booze tastes watered down or half the cake you left in the fridge goes missing?

Budget that in.2.)Maintainance - Fridges break.

If I were looking at places to move and you saw a big dent in the fridge door or a missing stove burner.

I can't mentally wrap my head around damaging a SS fridge but I'm sure many renters wouldn't care at all about nicks, etc.

If an item can not be replaced, a fridge shelf is no longer available, it's not an excuse for a new fridge, the loss needs to have a measurable and reasonable financial loss assigned to the matter and you may be indemnified for the economic loss.

I would also get the largest fridge that fits the opening and avoid bottom of the line dishwashers, because they are loud and don't get dishes clean.
