Tenants shouldn't expect you to come and make them breakfast, pick up their clothes, drive them to work etc., so why or how can anyone say you sound bad for expecting/wishing/wanting/yearning to make what the house should be bringing in...???

:).....when I was a kid I had a chest of drawers in my bedroom & the rest of my clothes were in the tack shed.Now each bedroom has to have large walk-in closets???

I am considering providing a stackable W/D set in the rental (due to space considerations), instead of two separate units side by side on the floor.Years ago in an apartment I had a stackable W/D and the dryer took an eternity to dry the clothes (90 minutes to 2 hours if there were jeans in the load).

** I never managed before but I inherited my 1st tenant on Friday after closing.So when I go to find a tenant for the lower unit, my red flags would be: In Person: Condition of the vehicle: Junk pouring out of the car (wrappers, empty drinks, etc), how they dress (wrinkly clothing?)

Cleaned out the tub with bleach, scoured it with brillo pads and wiped down with a tack cloth before masking off the tiles around it and spraying it down.
