We so often take for granted our simple privileges (hot water, paved roads, the obvious things), but we forget that sometimes it's good to live in a technological and well-informed world, where disease-prevention that is near impossible in West Africa is SIMPLE at home.

As you guys know I work road construction, I am a roller operator for a paving crew.

Here in California, land improvements including underground utilities (water, sewer, electric, gas) and paved roads are very expensive.

I miss biking into Rock Creek Park from Tyson's corner and out way into Virginia on the paved trail...
