when you say "being sold" do you mean the minimum bid amount or the actual sales amount? 

Hey @Scott Trench unfortunately real estate losses (active or passive) will not offset portfolio income from stock sale gains. 

I'm looking to exchange a multi-use property I own in the Bay Area for a multifamily property (expected sales price $3 million) that I could potentially convert to MTR.

I can pay some va's 400 to make 1,000 callls per week.

Some of the discounts are good, but just be aware that you will be paying a payment processing fee on top of the discounts.

I tried the Reia and it's basically a giant sales pitch

Our current mortgage terms include a late fee after 5 days, so they’re already paying extra each month and have to split the total monthly payment up between 2-3 payments when they get their pay check.

Another option is to invest in the market instead of paying down a mortgage.
