We are looking for a teacher/mentor working in Section 8 in Colorado. 

I liked the presentation however, they wanted to mentor you through out the process and charge $300 a month to show you how to do it. 

My thought is if you have $40,000 invest it in a project....not mentoring. 

Would connecting him with a mentor or having him shadow someone in the industry be too soon?

One of my mentors also encouraged this strategy and was able to buy a property every year or 2 and rent out rooms rather than the house for much more.

The modules are over 40 videos and weekly calls that happen 3 to 4 times a week geared to mentor you along the way till your units start producing like they should.

As an investor, and with others teaching and mentoring, a person in real estate should never leech off of a host.
