Can anyone recommend a training program that I can do so I can hit the ground running. 

Use this experience to work out the kinks and build a strong boots on the ground team.

I'm sure we could find you someone to talk to on the ground here. 

Our ground moves quite a bit and $150 is worth it to see if there is a 5K+ repair needed.

Right now people are making money on ground up construction.

I am putting together a pitch book for an $8M ground up self storage development.

I'm a fan of the parcel it off now, and ground lease it for 30 years or something, if they wanna pay up front for the 30 years they can do that, but I'd retain control personally if it were me.

The investors that I work with value that we act as their boots on the ground for the transaction and normally use the equity gain to buy the next property.  

So my focus will certainly shift to Portugal.Also because as a REI mentor once said to me "if there is no more grass on the pastures (in this case Germany/Austria), then you need to look for new ones" ;-)My initial (and still very broad) area of focus will be the L-shaped area along Linha de Cascais to the Atlantic and then up the coast till Ericeira.Hope to be on the ground later this summer and always happy to connect and exchange.
