When I go on vacation with family and friends we spend our time doing things , spending money on fun , seeing the sights , going out to eat , drinking too much . 

They would be good places to meet seasoned investors and service providers and they do not have any cost other than the food or drink you purchase.   

I have house hacked so we have no housing expense, we cook most of our meals, hardly drink, bought our cars in cash, and have no debt.

I don't even drink the stuff and have no idea what a French press does, but I hear some prefer that method and for this price, I'm willing to experiment with adding this amenity. 

Debt hanging over me makes me have to take xanax or drink tooty fruity drinks all day.

The first pillar is avoiding unnecessary and risky activities (don't drink and drive, insurance generally won’t cover your poor decisions) and take good care of your investments(maintain your property, etc) - these simple steps will help you prevent lawsuits before they even occur.
