Or, the "bubble" isn't actually a bubble (historical evidence strongly contra-indicates this) and prices never come back down, so I'm left with one less rental and a pile of cash that's being devalued by inflation.What say you?

I’m looking into a 4 unit multi family home in the contra costa area and planning to live in one of the units and rent out the other 3.

They have all the things needed, on site, for you to live your best life and give you the separation of working remotely because an entire floor would be a co-working space.This idea came from three places, air craft carriers (which are like mini cities), military bases in general (which typically have everything you need on them), and experiences I have had working as a consultant in hotels that were wonderful.   

I've done that also....once in Alameda County and twice in Contra Costa County.

Also, Oakland by itself has more duplexes and triplexes by itself than all the rest of Alameda County and Contra Costa County combined.

I have 3.5 acres of wooded land In a beautiful area in Central Georgia. 10 minutes from a high-school that just doubled in size, 25-30 minutes from 2 airports where lots of contractors go to work on aircraft.
