On the other hand, its still a growing market and not too far from the Vaughan downtown redevelopment on hwy 7 which includes a new subway terminal, multiple high rise projects.

I like coffee shops, subway, Arby's, Wendy's. 

So far in my local market research, I haven't come across many properties that have tile finishes unless they are in a much higher price bracket and I will still do a "subway tile" back splash for the shower unit in the 2nd floor bathroom.

It's the city subway, not a freight railroad.

Demo 5-6 rows of subway tile and cement board in the shower, pull up the fiberglass pan, have a new drain put in.

The Vaughan Metropolitan Centre has a direct subway access to downtown.

ChrisLastly, you can never go wrong with subway tiles for bathrooms, not only is it fashionable but its timeless design that you can find anywhere. 

The updates I will be looking to complete are:- Installing efficient and cost effective flooring throughout (1,200 square feet)- Removing bathtub with stand up shower/subway tile and new toilet - Adding additional storage in bathroomThere are probably a TON of things I am not accounting for as this will be my first time ever taking on a task like this.

Thinking about how urbanized Korea already is, they should be all about the subway and Ubering, unless most tourists in LA rent cars.
