Hello Andrew, Most folks I have found in the blogging business, even those passing themselves off as blogger gurus, miss a very important concept these days and that is, quick to judgment is a fault not a quality denoting witt.

The trick is to make it sound like the blogger has expertise they are sharing.

Some large distribution channels (with some brainstorm ideas for them) are: BiggerPockets (official BP blogger, being an admin, posting, commenting, adding value, offering assistance, being insightful) Amazon.com (writing books and publishing them) iTunes (podcasting) YouTube (video blog, tips, interviews, , make real estate music videos...?!

Thank you guys Im going to follow your advices and I'm going to try to learn as much  as possible from you and the postings from BP bloggers.

My question is do anyone of you have any advice, know of any books/websites/bloggers, know of any mentors here in the Houston area, or just have any comments to offer to myself and others in my position?

@Joshua Dorkin as a blogger I am a big fan with of the categories and the clean design.

He has a couple of rentals I believe but is a popular blogger on living, cheap, saving up and getting financially independent with investments and living simply.  

Money Moustache ( a financial blogger) and the sledgehammer he takes to the financial media that you need 3Million dollars to retire,etc...
