I could venture off and start my own “Engineering Firm” I have a few friends that are top notch engineers in the aviation industry that are looking to venture off, but they don’t have any products in mine nor do I.

But the military aviation community pretty much has nothing but negative things to say about working with USAA IRT mortgages.I myself am a 17 year member, and have zero plans to use them for my VA loan.

There are, indeed, a God-awful number of acronyms in aviation. 

I was first stationed in Virginia and did 9 deployments all over the Caribbean, Gulf of Mexico, Atlantic, and Pacific on a 270' Cutter for 2.5 years doing drug and migrant interdiction. 6 months of aviation maintenance school followed and afterwards, I transferred to my first and final aviation unit in Cape Cod, MA on H60 Jayhawk Helicopters.
