So theoretically that brand of deadbolt and something like an August Pro lock might be a bit more break in proof, but I think a really determined thief will get into most places, and I have other lines of defense, so I'm not too worried about drilling in this case, and I prefer having a touchscreen/keypad available and not be 100% dependent on phone or key to let me in, as is the case with August locks.

I can tell you every story about what’s gone on in my block in the past 13 years from the time the neighbor’s roommate was selling drugs, to the time the thief was caught breaking into cars to steal GPS, to which old folks died and their homes were bought by investors and flipped (usually to young families).It doesn’t take a lot of crazy parties or bizarre events to really disturb the neighborhood psyche.

When I purchased it, I lived in it while I fixed it up, I put a big fence around it, put an LOUD alarm,, made friends with the neighbors on both sides of me and used my right to bear arms in my home...1 part of the reason for me to live in it and work on it is so the 'bad' people can see that I am a human, busting my butt for my stuff.
