The property I was closest on buying was in La Isleta.

I'm not sure if this is the right section to post this question but it is the closest thing I could find that's relevant to my question. 

While it might not seem as big as the other projects mentioned above, this area is currently within a “starvation zone” because of the distance of the closest grocery store.

Half the property has a CVS Pharmacy on it (the parcel closest to the highway), while the back half is undeveloped.

The buses of seniors pumping their SS checks into slots is over for this town and now seems to go to wherever the closest casino is.  

I haven't been to that area in over 5 years and I couldn't recognize it.Also, I was in South Philly couple of days ago and saw lots of rehabs around Geno's/Pat's Steaks area.

The closest thing to a "fund" with 1031 exchange proceeds would be for an investor to make several smaller investments in DSTs, perhaps even focusing on DSTs which own multiple properties - in a way, creating your own "fund". 

You want to use the same level of flooring that your closest comp used. 

NARPM seems smaller than IREM, as there isn't a NARPM chapter in NY at all, the closest is Philly 6 hours away...
