The reason I know is because before we started our PM business we outsourced our PM for our investment properties.

In Los Angeles if you go over 50% of the existing square footage, you get hit with different building costs.Also to keep your cost down the more you outsource away from the contractor the cheaper it is (although more managing).

This is no easy task and that is why many real estate investors outsource their marketing to professionals that specialize in the area.

Developers/builders use it to keep track of every aspect of their deals, from loans to writing checks for their supplies.A developer I'm working with has purchased the software, but really needs to find someone to outsource working with the software to someone more knowledgeable.   

We didn't outsource these VA's, we hired them as employees and personally trained them.

For any marketing channel, it makes sense to spend some time learning the basics before outsourcing it.
