The British Columbia Lower Mainland market is normalizing it seems...This is the case in Vancouver to Surrey as far as I can tell with the other Tri-cities likely to see the slow down soon.

Non owner-occupied STR are currently under assault, with a bill before the metro council that if passed, will phase out STR in Nashville beginning in 2019.Operating a STR in Nashville requires a permit, and new permits for non-owner occupied STR are not being issued pending the outcome of this legislation.

It then goes to city council and gets approved or denied.  

IT MIGHT BE A GOOD IDEA FOR YOU TO CONSULT AN ATTORNEY ABOUT THESE ORDINANCES.I think what we investors need to do is start calling, writing, and/or going to the city council meetings and DEMAND that they repeal the ordinances for that and just get rid of the whole Cleveland water dept.

1) Get a premium subscription for Retail Lease Trac (http://www.retailleasetrac.com) and contact tenants and/or their tenant rep brokers seeking similar space in your market directly.2) Join the International Council of Shopping Centers (http://icsc.org) and pitch the deal to prospective tenants/their tenant rep brokers at their conventions, especially RECON, which is their primary convention held every May in Vegas.

In my view, there is no way to constitutionally enforce this rule but there is no pressing issue for the city council to delete it from the books.  

At what point should I seek legal council with a contract? 

@Tiffany Kung - I'm not investing in Seattle, it's not in my wheelhouse, and I don't like where the city council is going with all their crazy ideas.
