We could most likely get a construction loan after the dust settles from current transition and turn the family probate house into a rental atleast temporarily, in 6 months to a year or so.

It is currently under contract with an accepted offer, however when i called Friddiemac they were encouraging me to put in a backup offer. this would be owner occupied not as an investment property.This is where it gets sticky, i have a home with a mortgage and filed ch. 13 in Feb. of this year...i was told i don't qualify for financing until 1 year of making my trustee payments.The house that i want is so inexpensive it would be perfect for me..i thought about going to family to see if they would temporarily finance it until i can sell my house and get a new mortgage in the spring...what do you think or have any other ideas of a way i could get a loan to buy this place..i am trying to make it a win/win for everyone involved simply because this particular house has more than i dreamed of getting...help!!!

My sister is looking for a house out of state that she needs to live in temporarily for about a year and a half for a job If I buy the house she is willing to pay rent while she is there.

The HR people did each say, without me asking them, they have a frequent need for temporary housing for doctors and administrators coming in temporarily or permanently because inventory is so low for bath buying and renting homes. 

Laws also change that can weaken the structure such as anonymity in Swiss accounts has been severely curtailed in the new anti terrorism laws. 

You could weaken the tree and it may fall in a heavy wind.  

It's great for me because it gives me crucial insight into their wants / needs and their initial position of power just continues to weaken the more they talk.Ok, so again...open to suggestion & ideas.
