I’m still not sure I understand why I had to do that.When I was first looking into it, I got familiar with the ADU requirements so I could speak intelligently about it and walked the job with an architect that was also familiar with ADUs.

I spoke with a few architects and found one I like that is very well known in the area by the commissioner of buildings.

This way you can find the contractors, architect, engineers, etc that you trust and do well.

I had a call with Peter Erdelyi yesterday, an architect that advertises ADU's. 

The architect needs the land to design the custom house around.

I am currently looking into self storage and was curious if anyone would have an architects they would recommend.

I'm in the NYC vicinity and I hired architects to do walk throughs, and some years ago, it cost $150.00 to do a walkthrough.

I may be doing some renovation work but may or maynot use another architect for renovation/remodel work.Thank you.
