Since i've owned the property for more than 5 years i don't believe i am subject to capital gains tax for non residents ( could be wrong though) so that is at least a bonus for me should i wish to get my money out of the UK market. 

Florida has elderly and immigrants, two populations that need protection with their largest and sometimes only asset.

Currently living in London, UK but I'm missing home and will be relocating in the near future.

Overall, the population is aging and immigrants are moving in at a much slower pace.

I was curious about the market in the UK with the dollar gaining some strength (comparatively to history) but I really have no idea about taxes and other rules about investing and financing abroad, or how Brexit will come into play. 

Most of them are breaking even or even losing a bit of cash.The reality is that the price per unit on a three flat, even on some of the outrageous priced ones in Wicker park UK village are still getting you units at 300k a piece.

While that's all still hung up in the courts, there's got to be something happening with immigration reform at some point in the future.

Lexington is a great town, I am partial to UK, and has really grown over the years!!
