My mom made me take Ritalin and based on articles I've read I'm sure it did more harm than good.Things that help: I've always played sports but lifting weights started during high school; I stopped at some point in college, got skinny again and a fraternity brother told me I needed to lift and I got so annoyed by that comment I started lifting again and never stopped.

Yes, late April and May are considered "mud" season up there and folks turn their attention to summer sports at that point.
