I might bite the bullet and pay a decent price, the one lady has great english skills and her own scripts.

I think someone also needs a good basic education (english and math).

Our homestead will likely include a main home, carriage house (guest house) with the possibility to build an additional guest houses as we hope to not only host our family and friends, but would also like to start a small bed and breakfast.What we bring to the table:- Real Estate Investing experience (I currently have 2 doors: 1 townhouse in Canada, 1 apartment in Italy)- Short-term property management experience (Canada/Italy)- Long-term property management experience (Canada)- Experience purchasing Italian real estate- Fluent in English/Italian (ability to translate)- Experience renovating using Italian building materials / systems- Trades: mechanical, welding (Him)- Successful entrepreneur.

His English has gotten lots better too since living here. 

For example :-The type that insisted on going to the out of state liberal arts school and racked up $150,000 in student loan debt while acquiring their degree in English literature-Your neighbor that have two $40,000+ new cars in the driveway while saying it is way to risky to invest in real estate because you could lose money-Your friends that time boasting about all their 0% financing on their furniture then forget to pay the balance offPeople on BP tend not to be in these categories.    

I feel that they change the rules for different situations, rules about things that should be laid out in plain English like a rate lock.

It would be nice if everyone at least spoke a common form of English!

It's not rocket science, all you need is highschool math and english, be able to listen, read and follow instructions......and motivation.

I worked with several developers who had English and History degrees.  

I plan to start investing in the Charleston and Mattoon areas of Southern Illinois.I am currently living abroad and teaching English in South Korea.I have been able to make a good savings while living here.I plan to use that money as a down payment on a rental property.This website is amazing and I have been learning a lot from reading and listening to the podcast.Hope to meet some of you in the future.
