I know that's not information she's really supposed to give out.The lady barely speaks English and often puts me on the phone to her husband as he speaks better English.

I got decent grades in Math, English, and Science, though I was certainly lacking talent in the art and music departments.

I'm not sure where you were looking, but this forum features 20+ of tax experts, including myself, who speak real estate fluently.

Then I walk them through in pain English what the sections are over the phone. 

Much more host-friendly...you can actually get a real person who speaks English when you call customer service!

One potential lender has attractive terms (8%, 2 points, 100% financed, no prepay penalty), but on the phone he has very spotty English so it's hard to talk to him, and his contract seems suspicious in areas too.

You could consider buying a rowhouse with an English basement as well.

On the west coast, an escrow company does all of that for you.Any real estate office that you call in the USA is going to have agents who speak English (of a sort) well enough so that you can understand each other.
