I've watched plenty of YouTube videos, I've read some blogs, and I think I have a general sense of what the process would need to be for me to screen tenants, keep up with city ordinance and state laws and so on.

I have been watching coutless videos as well as articles about NPV and I am starting to wrap my head around the concept and what it is used for.

Are there books, videos, blogs, etc?

Do you have any suggestions for where to find the specifics on those requirements besides engaging with BDS about a specific address, which is how they seem to prefer interacting?
