Actually a lot of SF the city doesn't have great weather with its micro-climates. 

The Midwest is America's most climate resilient area: plenty of fresh water, no hurricanes, no fires, no floods, no triple digit summers.

@Josh Houser If you think you can still be successful in a market climate that will likely get worse than it is now, then by all means, bet on yourself and quit.

I think some of it is climate change denial, honestly.

People go where the jobs, climate, political theatre, culture, and other factors are more to their liking, and the places they leave behind often become the new affordable housing areas.

This Is WRONG.Next, Energy prices are spiking, including in New York City, where I have been investing for over 22 years.We have seen Electric Bills TRIPPLE.I suspect Gas Prices will do so in the long run as well.For Climate Change, Flood Insurance and regular Insurance are already spiking.

This said, we're planning, this summer, to start splitting our time between Mazatlan and a cooler summer climate somewhere to be determined here in Mexico.
