The tenant will have a separate entrance door and three rooms (one converted to a mini-kitchen).

There is an open space on the first level of the house where the front entrance is.

I'm sure the county would say you can't build a full and proper storage facility there, but there's really no way of them preventing you renting some space you happen to have in a saaay 2nd room that has it's own entrance in your lovely new shop building where you also use some space.

They were then moved to the street in front of our entrance. 

For me it's not about recouping the 6 figures I pay to be part of the professional community I'm a part of, I came to the community to be part of it (not recoup my entrance $)- and the expansiveness and relationships it brought me has far exceeded in dollars the entrance $. 

The property is listed as a single family home with a separate entrance to a mother-in-law apartment in the basement.  

We do a camera at every entrance to the home. :) We have also (thankfully) never had to deal with the customer service, but haven't really had problems!

We immediately replaced the entire roof with money we received cash-back at closing, rehabbed all of the common areas (lobby, hallways, cafeteria, entrance), rehabbed the 3 vacant units, addressed the landscaping, resurfaced and lined the parking lot, implemented third party management (Vic Green Realty), and added a $25/m utility bill-back.

We have a complete list of items necessary to set up an STR including electronic lock, wifi thermostat, owner's door lock, replacing the door knob on the entrance door with a handle, and many more things that are often overlooked.  

Entrances are pretty awkward, but it could easily be made into a triplex.
