I have worked in the construction industry for years with a background in interior design. 

Anyone who says it is too much or too low in any given area can say that with any location.I am currently in Austin, Texas and had to retrieve bids for interior paint (all walls and ceilings - Eggshell - Three bedrooms, stairway @ 2 flights, gym, two bathrooms, closets, etc @ roughly 1,200 square feet and over 300 square feet of new cove base throughout apartment was needed.I received five random bids ranging from $2,600 to $5,500 - Guess what?

I closed on the property in the middle of December, and work has been going on for the last 4-5 weeks on the interior. 

And he knows how to make something look awesome and not break the bank.My Interior Designer helps me keep my contractor on track on artistic license and helps me shop and stage.

The interior is just about down, two toilets need to go in this morning. 

@Matthew Paul Water meters here are on the interior and frost line is 1.3 - 1.5 m (~4 - 5ft).  

It does need some interior updating but nothing I can't do myself with my dad. 

I just joined BP as an Accredited Stager Professional and interior decorator. 

This addition would be on top of slab/crawl (that we would have to lay) and would include an interior remodel of the kitchen, master bed/bath, and possibly another 1/2 bath. 

The reason for this is simple.....women have a greater attention to detail than men do when it comes to interior home design & staging.
