I’m still diving through my notes and doing further research but that sounds like what you’d need.What I know a lot more about is on the architectural side, when it comes to producing the drawing package in order to submit for permits with the city.

The architectural, building, and fire safety plans would likely have to be submitted, reviewed, and approved by the municipality (a process that can take several months) before a GC can start any work.

Along with being a realtor, I also do a lot of architecture.

I'll do some more thinking about what I can do to keep everyone on the same page (like architectural drawings)

I wanted to leverage my architectural license and education from NYU Schack to get into Real Estate development.

The biggest benefit of the Easy Permit is it does not require Architectural Drawings, and can be processed very quickly, to allow you to get construction started ASAP since the scope is very limited.

Does anyone know of or use a fairly simple architecture software program for remodeling projects/plans, etc? 

There are lots of things to get done:-surveying-environmental -traffic-stormwater engineering-landscape architecture-utilities-legalThe preliminary plat will probably be the most expensive pieces of paper you'll ever hold.You should ask your engineer if they, or someone they work with,  handle the entitlement process.
