I had a private guy this week tell me the bath fans were not operating correctly because the vent louvers weren't fully open....This after I had already installed new fans and ducting, 3 to 4 inch, 50cfm.I think being friendly and upfront can certainly help, but often it just comes down to luck.

The hole inside the toilet bowl is about 2 inches in diameter and everything that goes through that 2 inch hole will absolutely go through a 3 or 4 inch sewer pipe when the pipes are in good  condition.
