I am pretty much expecting red tape but hoping to be surprised.

Fast forward a few years we are we financially free via house hacking and owning small businesses (leveraging our house hacks as collateral). 

We are seeing the best investors are always moving.

Or they think we are somehow to blame and want to terminate us.- Recent example: we took a vacant property over and did our TakeOver video, then gave the owner a bid for around $10k to get it RentReady.
