For example, over the past few years, the metro area has hosted the Super Bowl, the NCAA Final Four tournament, the Frozen Four (NCAA hockey) tournament, the X games and other events. 

Together, my partner and I have come up with approximately 24 ideas for the project, including, the annual "3 on 3" basketball tournament, the annual carnival and Redding's most favorite event Kool April Nites.

One of my clients most of his visits are people looking to visit family in the area but close enough for a disney trip, day trips to the beach which is 15-20 mins away, once the school is back up at full capacity FIT has a lot of foreign students who have friends and family visiting, the sports center in viera has very big baseball and soft ball tournaments multiple times a year before the pandemic but i think they have some things this on the schedule this summer. 

One of the auction prizes one year was a chance to play in a small company poker tournament with a bunch of the execs. 

Having a brisket competition and fishing tournament.  

He knows boats very well though - he is a tournament fisherman and has his own tv show.

I'm going to a tennis tournament (I love tennis).

Once you've completed #3, you combine it with what made those areas attractive and then find those properties in similar areas with a lot less investor pressure.Just my 2 cents, but I don't like to fish in the middle of a pond, where a bass tournament is happening!  

Our kids were in high school at the time and we would go to Chico at different times for tournaments/games....loved driving through the orchards on the way up...georgeous part of the world!
