Stadium, close to downtown...

are stadiums and arenas that helpful in reality?

The city of Inglewood last night fast tracked the approval of a football stadium next to Hollywood Park.No teams have committed themselves to the stadium, but I'm sure it's only a matter of time...http://la.curbed.com/archives/2015/02/inglewood_ap...

We also have investors (sometimes myself) that fund land development projects which can also include large residential or commercial development projects including, but not limited to casinos, hotels, stadiums, golf courses, etc...I have been a very successful entrepreneur who started from meager beginnings and enjoy teaching and helping both newbies and seasoned veterans to achieve their real estate investment dreams.I look forward to getting to know the other members of the group.

I'm a 40 year Angel fan and even went to the All Star game at Angel Stadium a hundred years ago!

This was before I knew ANYTHING about Baltimore outside of the stadiums and the Inner Harbor, really.  

In my area, there's the Cowboys Stadium, Rangers Ballpark, Arlington Convention Center, Six Flags Over Texas, and Hurricane Harbor. 

The game was the NY Giants VS The Philladelphia Eagles, We decided to buy Giants supporter apparel since the majority of fans at Metlife stadium were Giants fans! 

This is the one near the Stadium I believe.

Yes/NoTax dollars should not be used to fund the building of stadiums for professional or semi-professional sports teams.
