@Mindy JensenThat's great news for all as it shows that the vibrant BP community is neither static nornear its peak.There are a myriad of solid reasons why so many souls are eager to join BP, such ascommunity help and guidance, proof of others' accomplishments, camaraderie with like minded individuals, trove of educational material for free  to name a few.In joining BP newcomers and returnees invest their time in something that can bear financial fruit only by them taking action as they embark on their REI journey.

I feel as if I am signing my soul away as I sign this lease. 

The most plausible is that buyer/OP is not with full comprehension of the contract entered, all the fine print probably somewhere around page 14 mid page where it reads "buyer owes seller his enduring human soul" or something to that affect, lol.

But I left the soul sucking W2 job early, rental income cash flows life and I have no debt.

I have no hard facts, just that the tenant base is very tough, and that long term holds can drain your soul and wallet. 

Long gone.Robots are coming for your jobs... they're even coming for your boyfriends... and universal basic income is inevitable... so wouldn't it be nice to have a nice rental property 30 years from now to provide housing to those jobless, mateless souls who can pay you direct deposit from their universal basic income check?

And the newbies will slowly realize they aren't learning much, and the "quantity" will become a deficit.The old guard may only make up 15% of the population of this forum, but they are the driving force and soul of it nonetheless.
