I would add that it's not a problem for banks with agents specifically, but any profession where you have 1099 income as opposed to W2. 

Hey its nice to work with family and friends but when its your money on the line you need a profession that knows that particular area well and has totally got your back.Best of luck. 

I did the same, had bachelor in business so sat for the test and now love my profession.

If you have a RE license/real estate is your full time profession, you pay reg taxes on profits from selling real estate- I buy and hold for at least a year and sell some flips periodically so that is not my main business and I pay a much lower tax rate as mine are capital gains

Registered Nurse by profession, No knowledge/ no connections in real estate.

Here's my question:  I am an attorney and, by my nature and my profession, am pretty analytical. 

I enjoy my profession but i am very interested in trying to increase income without having to work more.

As a young profession in a HOT market, I am looking for house hacking opportunities, and investing out of state.Seeking: REI opportunities out of state (NV, AZ, midwest, sh*t literally anywhere but CA). 

Not much I can’t fix, but if I do I work in construction and have all professions covered with cheap weekend labor.
