Being a PM or a PE is a huge advantage because you are familiar with the construction process.

I've been using zillow to just look at areas i'm interested and then looking at craigslist rents in the same areas to determine P/E ratios.

I had to let go a structure PE who explained the mechanics which I already know.

With such dramatic growth in the top- and bottom-line, the slip in forward P/E multiple from 15.2x to 14.3x hardly mattered.Microsoft is the opposite story.

I come from a construction background, I am now a licensed PE and worked as a consultant for a few years, and I am now a project manager for a steel construction company.Started diving into REI in the last couple of months and feel like I have listened to about a dozen books, read 2 texts books, and countless podcasts and videos.

The best way to determine likely success is to retire when 10 year PE is on the average/low side.
