At the end of the day, if you are prudent in investment analysis, have a good BS meter for smooth talking salesman, and know a bit about real estate to be able to do some basic diligence on the polished presentation many syndicators put together, than you would likely be fine going this route.

Anyway, code enforcement asked to see the inside of the apartment & i agreed as i was doing some improvements inside like painting etc.....afterwards he nailed a red tag to my wall which i didnt pay much attention to because I was literally unaware of what it was or what it meant.

The driveway is 'Y' shaped, very narrow from the street to the back, then both houses have their own parking area in the back.The issue he is having is the other homeowner is 'accidentally' leaving nails, screws, and other puncture problem items on the driveway with alarming regularity.
